This project included the need for a more dynamic system that included an events calendar and the ability to organize information in a multi-tiered way and available through various avenues.

Dartmouth Now news site
A team project with the Office of Public Affairs to bring 4+ news publications managed by OPA into one central website, this project was part of the Print to Digital initiative to bring publications to the web and save on printing costs. Dartmouth Now is the final product of this effort.

Redesign of KannerKreative.com
The redesign of this website has been a long-time-coming. I had been using my previous design, built with SSI, CSS and HTML, but very static otherwise, for about four years. But alas, all must change and so here is the newly redesigned site.

Keep it Simple… Complex Systems Should Not be Complex to the User
I had a discussion the other day in a room full of programmers and system administrators where the conversation migrated to how usable a tool should be, in this case software, if it were a complex system. The argument from some in the room was that, “hey, it’s a complex system, it will be complex to the user”, to which my response was, “Really?”
